Alkawther and MODON sign contract worth SR35 million


 

Alkawther Industries Co, signed a contract with the Saudi Industrial Property Authority "MODON" For the design and implementation of a desalination plant with a capacity of 15,000 m3 per day at the second industrial zone in Dammam worth SR 35 million.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry and chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) and  Ahmed Gashlan , Chief Executive Officer of Alkawther Industries Co in presence of the Director General of MODON Eng. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed .

Commenting on the new contract, Ahmed Gashlan , Chief Executive Officer of Alkawther Industries Co said  "This project represents the beginning of cooperation between Alkawther Industries Co and MODON , and in the coming period will be targeting a number of similar projects for industrial cities that play an active role in the development of infrastructure in the industrial cities in the Kingdom.”

Gashlan noted that The company was founded in 1979 and considred to be the first company to designs and manufactures water and wastewater treatment plants and pollution control equipment. It also offers reverse osmosis, desalination, filtration, and plant installation, operation, and maintenance services.
