Abdulrazzak Mohammed Elkhraijy, he received his B.A. in Economics and Business from Macalester College, St Paul, Minnesota in 1980. Mr. Elkhraijy is an American educated Saudi banker with over thirty years experience in Islamic Banking, having joined the National Commercial Bank, NCB, Saudi Arabia oldest and largest bank by market capitalization in 1980 as a management trainee. Between 1987 and 1994 Mr. Elkhraijy’s was elevated to the position of acting and regional manager for the western and eastern regions and in 1994 he was made deputy head of the Islamic Banking Division, IBD.


Mr. Elkhraijy’s was the head of the Islamic Retail Banking Division from in 2004.In December of 2006, he was appointed to be the head of the Islamic banking development group. He is also responsible for maintaining and expanding NCB’s position as the leader in Islamic finance, both retail and corporate; in addition to monitoring Shariah-compliance across NCB. Mr. Elkhraijy is also a member of several high-level banking committees at NCB and board member of some local and international institutions.
